The best anime shows on Netflix

Infernal Destroyer (2019)

Brimstone Destroyer - NPC - World of Warcraft

Demon Slayer, the latest darling of the shonen genre, is a unique success because it deviates from many of the standard tropes seen in action anime. After a monster kills his family, protagonist Tanjiro Kamado joins the demon slayers’ ranks. Tanjiro’s younger sister Nezuko Kamado was the only one to escape the attack, but she became a monster as a result. Tanjiro and Nezuko go to Taisho-era Japan in pursuit of a cure, and Tanjiro ends up joining the Demon Slayer Corps to face the demon responsible for his family’s deaths, Muzan Kibutsuji.

The visuals and action are stunning, the story is engaging, the soundtrack is excellent, and the lines of conversation will stick with you. No amount of praise for this anime could ever be enough. Netflix only has the first season available, but if you can’t get enough of it, there is more.

Yes, the titans are terrifying; they are enormous, humanoid, human-eating beasts that compel humans to dwell behind high castle walls. But seeing our heroes triumph against the bad guys is half the joy.

The first season of Attack on Titan is the only one available on Netflix, but the show’s popularity means that you won’t need more than the first 25 episodes to become hooked.

Kakegurui Season 1 Review – DJ's World

Trust us, after watching just a few episodes of this famous anime, you won’t be able to stop watching. Although it’s not your standard action anime, this program is just as exciting. The exact opposite is true.

Whether it’s at the roulette table or the blackjack table, at Kakegurui, a student’s worth is determined by how well they can gamble. Mixing elements of drama and psychological suspense, the show’s stakes increase as it goes on.

Castlevania (TV Series 2017–2021) - IMDb

There is a lot of blood and gruesome creatures in this grim medieval tale. In the 1400s, Trevor and his newfound allies go to Eastern Europe to put an end to Dracula’s reign of terror after the untimely death of his beloved. The opportunity is too good to pass up.
